Doom Ritualist?
I was expirementing in the FPE with a skill called "doom", now, for every binding ritual you have it will inflict an amount of damage on the opponent. Now, I was Curshing Luxons this morning and saw them using it, and although they only had about 2 spirits each, their Dooms were hitting 155....and 115....and considerably high numbers. Anyone think a "Doom Ritualist" would be worth looking into?

I thought the same thing. It will easily become a new form of spike. It will need some fine tuning though before you can make it a good one.

eh, doom doesn't inflict damage for each binding ritual you have, it deals damage for each recharging binding ritual.
besides, the damage is so low, at 16 spawning power it's 20 lightning dmg for each recharging binding ritual.
so if you've got a skillbar with 7 binding rituals and doom (blargh), the maximum damage output would be 140.
there are some easier ways to achieve 140 lightning dmg :l

On top of that, it doesn't have armor penetration nor does it ignore armor. You just wasted 7 skill slots to buff this junk. Assassin's Blade of Steel at least can put the other 7 skills to use while being armor ignoring damage(one huge boss killing combo?)
Pure crap.

Why the assassin plug?
On Topic:
The skill is fine and dandy, but I don't think it's viable to make a build around. I found that when I play binder, I have some "down" time. So Doom is not a bad thing to take when you are waiting on spirits to die or others to recharge. It's not a personal favorite, but its far from bad.

That assassin thing was just one of the thing I thought of when I was thinking of some build for both rit and asn.
Thought to share it a bit =P
